Asian American Collective Action for Racial Equity and Solidarity at San Francisco State University
Asian American Collective Action for Racial Equity and Solidarity (AA CARES), housed in the Department of Asian American Studies, College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University (SFSU), strives for healing, innovation, and nurturing our communities’ continued commitment towards stopping discrimination. Our initiative is uniquely situated to uplift and give voice to the lived experiences of diverse segments of our multi-ethnic and intersectional communities. We develop programs, research innovation, host community-building events, and support youth (and future leaders) within the broader San Francisco Bay Area community and beyond.
